Celebrating the ambition, creativity and determination of utilities as they push the boundaries of innovation. This award recognises pilot projects that have been rolled out for initial testing and have demonstrated potential for success, and to make a wider impact.
Eligibility: Entries for this category must either be from a UK utility or in partnership with one. Projects must be complete pilots but not yet BAU. For BAU innovation please enter the relevant category (insert link)
Entries for this award should show evidence of:
- A clearly articulated challenge (whether for an individual business, the wider industry or a customer or other stakeholder), and the potential to mitigate that challenge
- Genuinely new ways of working or approaching a problem
- Quantifiable wider benefits, ie to customers, the environment and/or towards meeting decarbonisation goals
- A clear and measurable view of what success looks like and when and how that will be measured
- Promising early results
